Photo Essay: A Tour in Photos of Branson, Missouri and the Ozarks

It would appear as if I orchestrated my fall to look like one big autumn trip across America. It started with Breckenridge and Denver, Colorado, sandwiched Gatlinburg and the Great Smokies in the middle, and has now concluded with Branson, Missouri and the Ozarks. The verdict? America is stupid-beautiful in the autumn. And what's more, no two U.S. destinations are alike in the fall. As much as I love to travel afar, this autumn season of travel has been a great reminder that beauty is in my own backyard. I first visited the Ozarks when I was teenager for a family reunion. I just remember throwing a fit that it was so idyllic and charming when I thought my home state of North Carolina had the most beautiful rolling hills in America. So in a lot of ways, this was a nostalgic return.

On assignment this week with Travel Mindset, my goal was to experience Branson beyond its name as the "Live Entertainment Capital Of The World." So I hit to the winding roads of those rolling hills of the Ozark Mountains that surround Branson. Join me as I take you on a photo tour of the Ozarks and Branson, Missouri.
