Photo Essay: Winter Postcards from North Lake Tahoe
Winter hasn't even officially arrived, and I'm already freezing. Okay okay, so there are worse places to be cold than amidst the High Sierras. I mean if you've spent any amount of time on WTG, then you've most certainly seen the photos of Lake Tahoe, and it isn't ugly. And winter is no exception. But winter isn't coming, it's come; so it's only fitting to share some winter postcards from North Lake Tahoe from living amidst the High Sierras. December may just be my favorite (winter) month in and around North Lake Tahoe. The towns and ski villages have that whole holiday spirit thing going on, ski resort crowds are typically sparse, and if you time it well, then you'll enjoy some epic snowstorms. And epic snowstorms make for great photos. It's quite idyllic.
But don't just take my word for it. See a few of my photos of winter in North Lake Tahoe below.

I am an ambassador this winter at Northstar California, but all thoughts and opinions are my own.
